ARABIAN TALES AT SCHOOLS: APRIL 15 - MAY 31 2012
Silly and outlandish stories full of good intentions, The Princess and
the Mouse and How the Caliph Became a Stork are funny adventures that share
many of the same qualities of magic and wildness as the Arabian Nights. This
is a great opportunity to expose your students to other kinds of
storytelling, a different culture and ways of seeing the world through new
eyes. A caliph wants to fly and a princess is afraid to speak but a
fast talking mouse and a forest nymph help in solving the problems of the
day.
