Princess Stories from around the world

Jess Abramovitch in Goldilocks '08

The tale of Goldilocks, is a simple tale about the perils and discoveries of curiosity. The earliest record of the story was found in the Toronto Public Library. It was a home made book titled The Story of the Three bears Metrically Related and was produced at Cecil Lodge in September 1831. The strikingly simple plot lines give this story a rich fairy tale flavour and have allowed us to create a wonderfully colorful pallet of music from the Ottawa Valley with a contemporary sound, a combination of witty kid satire and three really cute environmentally friendly bears. Goldilocks’ curiousity also teaches us that: Learning happens in all kinds of ways!
