little red theatre presents

At Schools October 2011

The word selkie means "seal" in the Scottish tradition and with those little grey heads bobbing above the waves watching us with uncannily human eyes, we have come to know them as ‘selkies’.  When they change from seals into humans and dance on the seashores  casting off their creature skins to do uncannily human things we understand even more about their natures.  Today our story is about a selkie's date with the land and a special child named Aiden whom she met on that date.
