Contact: Thank you for finding us here on the web. We have a bunch of great new songs this year, a whole new cast and some great twists to a very old story. Of course at the end of the show you could ask your kids to make up their very own endings too. We think that fairy tales should be continually re-interpreted as the years go by and our culture evolves (Disney doesn't seem to have any problems with this new philosophy!) ... so go for it KIDS!  Re-write, rewrite, rewrite! The main theme of Little Red Riding Hood is about "trusting strangers" and in writing the script I wanted to bring out the positive aspects of listening to people that you can trust and who love you rather than those whom you know little about. I steered away from the heavier-handed concept of "obedience" and played more with the "love" element, teaching the children to discriminate between people who care about them and are concerned with their safety and those who are not. In this package you will find songs that are in the production and as the lyrics contain important information, I encourage you to teach them to your children before we arrive. Besides, it's great fun when they can sing them with us. Also enclosed you will find some questions and discussion points that can be used as well as activities to accentuate what they have learned from seeing the presentation. Enjoy the show!
