The Cupid/Psyche story told in the mysterious world of dark nights and long days of northern latitudes. In the land of the white wolf there is a king and his three daughters.  Each is offered a gift and the youngest asks for a wreath of wild flowers.  The king is faced with a promise that he cannot keep without losing that which is most dear to him.
